We've got some exciting news to share with you all!

Recently, Sea Vegetable had the incredible opportunity to participate in the ufu. Fest 2023, organized by none other than the renowned foodie Cream Tarou and his team at ufu.

Now, you might be wondering what a seaweed company like us was doing at a festival known for its array of delectable sweets. Well, let me tell you, we brought something truly unique to the table –

our "Seaweed-Rich Baked Butter Potatoes."

Our attention to detail began with the careful selection of each ingredient. First up, the potatoes. We opted for the "Imakane Otoko Shaku" potatoes, sourced all the way from the pristine lands of Hokkaido. These potatoes are meticulously cultivated with a focus on soil quality, and we cook them with their skins on to preserve their natural goodness.

After steaming the potatoes, we bake them with high-quality butter until they're perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, while still retaining that soft texture inside.

And here's the kicker – we lightly crush the potatoes to enhance the contrast between the crispy surface and the fluffy interior.

Once our potatoes are baked to perfection, we sprinkle them with salt and pepper to bring out their flavors, and finally, topped them off with our aromatic seaweed for that extra touch of umami goodness.

The aroma of the seaweed mingling with the steam from the potatoes was simply irresistible, drawing crowds of eager foodies to our booth throughout the event.

In a day filled with sweet indulgence, we were thrilled to offer a savory delight that captured the essence of our beloved seaweed. To everyone who stopped by our booth at the ufu Fest, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Simple yet incredibly satisfying, this dish highlights the best of each ingredient. We encourage you to recreate it at home and experience the magic for yourself.
